Quickly approaching the 2010 OHL All-Star Classic in Kingston February 2-3, four years ago the Eastern Conference began their current winning streak at the 2006 event in Belleville, ON.
One of the young stars of the game was Jordan Staal of the Peterborough Petes who would help the East win 9-3. Staal would then help the Petes capture an OHL Championship before being selected second overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins at the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
Tickets to the 2010 OHL All-Star Classic events can be purchased separately at $25 for the Skills Competition on Tuesday February 2 and $30 for the Game on Wednesday February 3. Both events begin at 7:00 pm with tickets available by going on-line at www.k-rockcentre.com or by calling 1-877-KLIVE-99. They may also be purchased at the K-Rock Centre box office at 1 Barrack Street in Kingston.
