12 OHL graduates are attending the 2018 AHL All-Star Classic in Utica, New York.

In Sunday’s AHL All-Star Skills Competition, Chris Terry (Plymouth Whalers) finished tied for the shooting accuracy competition lead, going 4-for-5 in his attempts while goaltender Jordan Binnington (Providence Bruins) shared the Top Goaltender Award, turning aside 16 of the 18 shots he faced.

The AHL’s Eastern Conference won the Skills Competition by a score of 18-12.

A pair of recent OHL head coaches in Sheldon Keefe (Toronto Marlies/Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds) and Mike Van Ryn (Tucson Roadrunners/Kitchener Rangers) led their respective divisions in the AHL All-Star Classic 3-on-3 tournament, an event won by Keefe’s North Division squad.

OHL graduates that factored prominently into 3-on-3 results were London Knights graduate Mitchell Stephens who had two goals and three assists for the North Division while Sudbury Wolves grad Kyle Capobianco had six points for the Pacific Division. Former Erie Otters forward Warren Foegele recorded four points for the Atlantic Division.
