Aidan Dudas Commits to Attack

The Owen Sound Attack have received a commitment from 2016 first round selection Aidan Dudas.

A native of Parry Sound, ON, Dudas was the OMHA ETA Player of the Year and represented Canada at the 2016 Youth Olympic Winter Games in Norway, earning a silver medal after recording a goal and two assists over six games.

“We’re extremely happy to have Aidan sign and for his family to join the organization.”, stated Attack general manager Dale DeGray at the club’s annual awards banquet on Saturday. “It was great seeing the smile on Aidan’s face and the enjoyment from the family here today.”

Upon receiving the Ray McKelvie Award as the organization’s first round selection, Dudas remarked how excited he was to officially join the organization and get started in September. Selected 10th overall in April, Dudas tallied 25 goals and 26 assists in 31 games with the North Central Predators Minor Midgets.

A 5’7″, 153Ib. centreman, Dudas led Team OMHA White with five goals and an assist over five games at the 2016 OHL Gold Cup last month in Kitchener.
