Bulldogs’ Stillman signs with Panthers

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has signed defenseman Riley Stillman to a three-year entry-level contract.

“Riley is a mobile defenseman with an NHL pedigree who can play with an edge to his game and has had a strong career in the Ontario Hockey League,” said Tallon. “We look forward to his continued development as we further strengthen our club’s future on the blue line.”

Stillman, 19, has appeared in 58 games this season with the Hamilton Bulldogs and Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League, recording 31 points (4-27-31). His 27 assists are an OHL career-high.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound native of Peterborough, Ontario, has produced 84 points (21-64-85) over 190 regular season OHL games with Hamilton (2017-18) and Oshawa (2014-15 to 2017-18). In the OHL postseason, Stillman has posted nine points (1-8-9) over 16 games.

He was originally selected by Florida in the fourth round (114th overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft.
