Dylan Robinson commits to Generals

Oshawa Generals

Oshawa, ON – The Oshawa Generals announced today that forward Dylan Robinson has committed to an Ontario Hockey League standard player agreement with the Hockey Club.

The Pickering, ON native was the 2nd round, 28th overall selection by the Gens in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection. He was a member of the Toronto Jr. Canadiens during the 2017-18 season where he tallied 29 goals and 55 assists for 84 points in 55 games played.

The 6’1, 165-pound centre participated in the OHL Cup in March where he notched six goals and five assists in seven games with the Jr. Canadiens, leading his team in scoring. The Jr. Canadiens took home the championship title, and Robinson was named tournament MVP.

“It’s a great day for our team getting Dylan Robinson committed to be a Gen” said Vice President and General Manager, Roger Hunt after the signing of Robinson. “With the addition of Dylan, along with Ty (Tullio) to our forward group, I really like the way our front is shaping up heading into the season.”

At the OHL Gold Cup in early May, Robinson suited up for GTHL Blue at the tournament. Appearing in four games, he recorded two goals and three assists, tying for third in tournament scoring on route to GTHL Blue winning the championship.
