The entire Kingston Frontenacs Hockey Club is mourning the passing of Donald Gilmour, long-time fan and father of General Manager Doug Gilmour. Mr. Gilmour passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012 after a lengthy illness.

“The entire organization’s thoughts are with the Gilmour family,” said Doug Springer, President and Governor of the Kingston Frontencas Hockey Club. “Donnie Gilmour was a long-time fan of the hockey club and has left a huge imprint on minor sports across the Kingston area.”

Arrangements have been made with James Reid Funeral Home and the family is asking the media to respect their privacy in this time of mourning. Doug Gilmour will not be conducting any interviews or media requests.
