Jonathan Lemaire commits to Wolves

Sudbury Wolves

(Greater Sudbury, ON) – The Sudbury Wolves are pleased to announce that 16-year-old goaltender Jonathan Lemaire has made a commitment to the hockey club.

The Gloucester, Ont. native was selected by the Wolves in the fifth round of the 2018 OHL Priority Selection. In 24 games with the Kemptville 73’s Midget AAA team this season, the 6-foot-6, 180lb goaltender has a goals-against average of 2.27 and a save percentage of .907.

“The Sudbury Wolves are excited to have Johnny join our organization,” said VP Hockey Operations and General Manager Rob Papineau. “He is having a great season in Kemptville and was our highest selected goalie in last year’s draft.”

Jonathan is expected to travel with the team to Barrie for Thursday’s matchup with the Colts.
