Jukka Schotter commits to IceDogs

St. Catharines, ON – The Niagara IceDogs announced Friday that they’ve received a commitment from 16-year-old free agent goaltender Jukka Schotter, currently playing with the GOJHL’s London Nationals Jr. B club.

The London, Ont. native played his minor midget season with the London Jr. Knights in 2015-2016 before heading south to spend the 2016-17 campaign with the North Jersey Avalanche 16U of the Tier 1 Elite circuit. In 18 games last season, he recorded a 1.60 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage in addition to a 0.80 goals-against average and a .966 save percentage in AYHL play.

Schotter attended IceDogs training camp in late August.
