Two Prospects Commit to Knights

London Knights

LONDON, ON – London Knights General Manager Rob Simpson is proud to announce the signing of two players; goaltender Jordan Kooy, and defenceman Riley Coome.

Kooy was originally selected by the Knights in the 8th round (160th overall) of the 2016 OHL Priority Selection.  The 6’2”, 181Ib. goaltender comes to the Knights after a successful season with the Central Ontario Wolves Minor Midget club of the OMHA.  The Bradford, ON, native played his way to a 9-8-2 record last season with the Wolves, recording a 3.65 goals against average.

Coome, hailing from Dorchester, Ontario, was recently signed by the London Nationals of the GOJHL.  In four pre-season games with the Nationals, Coome registered 1 goal and 3 points. He spent last season with the London Jr. Knights Midget team.
