Milestone Moments: Jan. 3/2018


Rookie forward Emmett Sproule picked up his first career OHL goal midway through the third period on Wednesday. Erie’s 2017 first round selection, Sproule took a pass from fellow rookie Joseph Mack in the slot and beat Mississauga’s Jacob Ingham for the milestone marker. The Otters lost the game 5-3, but its one Sproule won’t soon forget. The 16-year-old from Collingwood, Ont. is a graduate of the Grey-Bruce Highlanders Minor Midget program and has suited up in 26 games with the Otters this season.
