Milestone Moments: January 11, 2019

Arizona Coyotes prospect Jan Jenik picked up his first OHL goal in just his second game, helping the Hamilton Bulldogs take a 6-5 overtime win in Flint. Jenik was effective off the forecheck, forcing Flint netminder Luke Cavallin into a puck-playing gaffe with 4:32 left in the opening frame. The 18-year-old native of Brno, Czech Republic was the sixth overall pick of the 2018 CHL Import Draft by Flint before he was acquired by Hamilton earlier this week. Jenik recently represented the Czech Republic at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship. He was Arizona’s third round pick this past summer.
