Niagara Plays Host to OHL Board of Governors

Niagara is hosting the OHL Board of Governors Meetings this week, with everything kicking off today at 1pm in Niagara-On-The-Lake at Queen’s Landing.

The meetings will be running from today until Friday, with the highlight of the week being the Champions Reception.  The Champions Reception is being hosted tonight (Wednesday) at 5pm by the OHL Champion Owen Sound Attack at Pillitterri Estates Winery, which is owned by the family of IceDogs forward Alex Friesen.

Another highlight of the week outside of the meetings themselves will be a round of golf that the Board of Governors will be playing on Thursday at Thundering Waters Golf Club in Niagara Falls, home of the Niagara IceDogs Annual Golf Classic.

The meetings themselves bring together the Governors of all 20 OHL teams together to discuss some of the various issues throughout the league.  The continued communication and discussion from these meetings is vital to the continued success of the league.

The Niagara IceDogs would like to welcome the OHL Board of Governors to the region and we hope they enjoy their week as we give them a chance to enjoy a little bit of everything Niagara has to offer!
