Oshawa, ON – Oshawa Generals Vice President and General Manager Roger Hunt announced Tuesday that forward Nick Wong has committed to the club.

Drafted by the Generals in the 2nd Round, 38th Overall in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection, Wong suited up for the Mississauga Senators Minor Midget AAA club this past season. The 5-foot-8, 157Ib. forward from Erin, ON had 16 goals and 13 assists for 29 points during the 2016-17 campaign.

“Nick is a player we valued as a skilled forward whom always seemed to have the puck,” said Hunt. “He is a talented player that will add to the skill we already have in place amongst our forward ranks. Nick had a good showing at our orientation camp and capped off the season by winning the OHL Gold Cup in Kitchener.”
