OHL Employment Opportunity – Director of Marketing & Business Development

Scarborough, ON – The Ontario Hockey League (OHL) is one of world’s highest profile developmental hockey leagues with 20 teams across Ontario, Michigan and Pennsylvania. The OHL is inviting applications for the position of Director of Marketing & Business Development at their Scarborough based office. 


Candidates should have a minimum of five years experience in client services and/or marketing.


Main Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to:

Working with key constituents, including corporate partners, suppliers and member teams, to ensure that each receives the highest level of servicing possible and that all contractual obligations are met.

Managing league sales agency to ensure sponsorship revenues grow through innovative and integrated packaging.

Working with member teams to help them grow their business footprint in their local markets.

Promoting the league and its member teams through new initiatives to grow the OHL brand.


Essential Skills:

Ability to work effectively and be accountable to challenging deadlines with strong planning and organizational skills.

Flexible, hands-on person with a strong work ethic who leads by example and sets the standard for achievement and accomplishment.

Ability to manage outside agencies and internal staff.

Ability to communicate both verbally and written.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
