OHL News – Radio Edition with host Terry Doyle and presented by Bauer continues for the 2017-18 regular season bringing fans insight from feature guests as well as news and notes from around the league each and every week over the airwaves.
This week’s segment features Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Taylor Raddysh who recently joined the first place Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds from the Erie Otters after winning World Junior gold as a member of Canada’s National Junior Team.
The 19-year-old from Caledon, Ont., was one of eight OHL players to win gold in Buffalo and alongside his good friend Michael McLeod of the Mississauga Steelheads was a returning member for Team Canada earning silver last year in Montreal. The fourth year OHL veteran joins the Greyhounds after playing 213 games in an Otters uniform helping the team hoist the Robertson Cup last May. Raddysh’s Erie totals include 102 goals and 151 assists since being chosen by the club in the first round of the 2014 OHL Priority Selection. Raddysh made a great first impression in his Greyhound debut on Wednesday scoring two goals in a 3-1 win over the Saginaw Spirit.
Raddysh chats with Doyle about his experience with Team Canada, the excitement of winning gold, playing in an outdoor game before more than 40,000 fans, and joining the Greyhounds for a chance to win another OHL championship.
