OHL News – Radio Edition for Jan 13/17

OHL News – Radio Edition with host Terry Doyle and presented by Warrior Hockey returns for the 2016-17 regular season bringing fans insight from feature guests as well as news and notes from around the league each and every week over the airwaves.

This week’s segment features 2017 NHL Draft prospect Nick Suzuki of the Owen Sound Attack who recently set a franchise record with 11-straight wins.

Suzuki, a 17-year-old from London, ON, enters the weekend seventh in league scoring and leads his club with 51 points through 41 games netting 22 goals and 31 assists.  The forward will represent the OHL on January 30 in Quebec City at the Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game as a member of Team Cherry.

The sophomore chats with Doyle about his OHL experience thus far in Owen Sound, competing in the tough Western Conference, the pressure of playing in his draft year, and the success the club has had over the last month during their record setting streak.
