OHL News – Radio Edition for Mar 24/17

OHL News – Radio Edition with host Terry Doyle and presented by Warrior Hockey returns for the 2016-17 regular season bringing fans insight from feature guests as well as news and notes from around the league each and every week over the airwaves.

This week’s segment features 2017 NHL Draft prospect Jason Robertson of the Kingston Frontenacs who finished the 2016-17 regular season tied for 13th in league scoring with 81 points in 68 games including 42 goals and 39 assists.

The 17-year-old from Northville, Michigan, was a fourth round pick by the Fronts in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection.  After producing 32 points in 54 games as a rookie, Robertson had a breakout sophomore campaign leading the club offensively and helping them secure home ice advantage in the first round of the 2017 OHL Playoffs as the fourth seed where they will host the Hamilton Bulldogs beginning Friday night.

Robertson chats with Doyle about playoff hockey, the offensive strides he’s taken during his second OHL campaign, and settling into life in Kingston as he continues to mature as one of the league’s rising stars.
