OHL News – Radio Edition for Nov 11/16

OHL News – Radio Edition with host Terry Doyle and presented by Warrior Hockey returns for the 2016-17 regular season bringing fans insight from feature guests as well as news and notes from around the league each and every week over the airwaves.

This week’s segment features Montreal Canadiens prospect Michael McNiven of the Owen Sound Attack who will represent Team OHL between the pipes in the 2016 CIBC Canada Russia Series on Monday night in Hamilton.

The 19-year-old goaltender from Georgetown, ON, is playing in his third career season with the Attack after being chosen by the club in the fourth round of the 2013 OHL Priority Selection.  McNiven signed an entry-level contract with the Habs in 2015 and enters the weekend an 8-5-0-0 record with one shutout victory along with a goals-against-average of 2.45 and save percentage of .916.

He chats with Doyle about the opportunity to compete against Team Russia, his development and experience at NHL Training Camp, and the support he receives from the Owen Sound community.
