Otters’ Dane Fox signs with Canucks

Vancouver, B.C. – Vancouver Canucks President & General Manager Michael D. Gillis announced today that the Canucks have signed free agent centre Dane Fox.

Fox, 20, has appeared in 36 games for the Erie Otters in 2013-14, collecting 67 points. The Chatham, Ontario native currently ranks second in the Ontario Hockey League in scoring.

The 6’0”, 185 pound center was originally selected by the London Knights in the third round of the 2009 OHL Priority Selection.

Currently playing in his fifth OHL season, Fox leads the league in goals with a career-high of 41 after scoring 54 in his first four OHL seasons.
