After taking the series lead with a win on Friday night the London Knights were looking to finish off the Saginaw Spirit with a win on Saturday night in Saginaw. Tommy Hughes' point shot got the Knights on the board four minutes into the first. Jared Knight extended the lead eight minutes later. Josh Shalla, Carlos Amestoy and Michael Fine all scored for Saginaw in the second. But, goals by Jarred Tinordi and Austin Watson would keep the Knights ahead going into the third. Olli  Maatta scored the lone goal in the third icing the game for the Knights. They take the series 4-2. Watch the highlights.

John Gibson and Scott Wedgewood were the story of the game in Plymouth. Gibson stopped 45 of 47 shots he faced and Wedgwood stopped all 32 shots he faced for the shutout and the win. Andy Bathgate put the Whalers ahead in the first with a short-handed goal. Tom Wilson would add some insurance half way through the third and then add his second of the game with the net empty. Plymouth now leads the series 3-2 with game six on Sunday.
