Attack’s Scott Stajcer signs with New York Rangers

The Owen Sound Attack would like to congratulate Scott Stajcer on signing an Entry Level Contract with the New York Rangers.

After a remarkable 2009-2010 Season with the Attack, the New York Rangers selected Stajcer in the 5th round of the 2009 Entry Draft.  Due to an early injury this season, Stajcer was kept sidelined for most of the 2010-2011 Season suiting up for 14 games but maintaining an outstanding .901 SV% and recording 10 wins. Stajcer would see ice again for the tremendous play-off run holding down the back end for 13 Play-Off games this season and a SV% of .909. Fans in Owen Sound have been fortunate to watch the Cambridge native grow and develop since arriving in Owen Sound for the 2007-2008 season playing just six games.

Stajcer was named CHL Vaughn Goaltender of the Week at the end of September after a strong start with the Attack.
