Tanner Wickware commits to Storm

Guelph, ON – General Manager and Head Coach George Burnett has announced that goaltender Tanner Wickware has committed to an Ontario Hockey League Standard Player Agreement with the Storm.

Wickware, the team’s first round (7th overall) selection in the 2018 U18 Priority Selection played last season with the Guelph Jr. Gryphons Midget AAA team where he had a 1.64 goals against average and a .933 save percentage in 23 games played.

“Tanner has worked very hard since we selected him in last spring’s U18 Priority Selection, and we look forward to working with him on his goaltending development,” said Burnett.  “We were able to add an outstanding young man to our program and have also strengthened our organizational depth at the goaltending position.”
