1ST STAR: MATTHEW STRUTHERS (NORTH BAY BATTALION):
The first OHL hat-trick for Matthew Struthers led the North Bay Battalion to a 5-2 win in Erie. Struthers teamed up with linemate Justin Brazeau, who joined him with four points on the night as the Troops climbed back to .500, improving to 7-7. Struthers was a force throughout the night, netting seven shots on goal while going 11-for-19 in the faceoff circle. He picked up a goal in each period, raising his point total to 24 points (11-13–24) over 11 games this season. The Milton, Ont. native is currently on a seven-game point streak, with six of those contests featuring multi-point outputs. He was acquired by the Battalion from the Owen Sound Attack last season. Struthers attended training camp with the Carolina Hurricanes last month.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS

2ND STAR: CONNOR ROBERTS (FLINT FIREBIRDS):
Connor Roberts racked up a career-high four points as the Flint Firebirds earned their first point of the season, dropping a 6-5 overtime loss at home to Sarnia. Roberts scored once in the second and once in the third, working alongside Ty Dellandrea who finished the night with three assists to his credit. Roberts picked up primary assists on a pair of third period tallies from Ethan Keppen. The 6-foot-4, 208Ib. native of Owen Sound, Ont. has six points (3-3–6) through 13 games in this, his third OHL season. He was the third overall pick of the 2016 OHL Priority Selection. Roberts attended rookie camp with the Pittsburgh Penguins last month.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS

3RD STAR: MITCH ELIOT (SARNIA STING):
Overage defenceman Mitch Eliot scored twice and picked up an assist as the Sarnia Sting came out on top in Flint by a score of 6-5 in overtime. Eliot opened the scoring in the first period before adding his second of the night 6:42 into the third period. The three-point performance is a career-high for the Grosse Pointe, Mich. native. The former Michigan State University defender joined the Sting midway through last season after being the club’s 11th round pick in 2014.
