Columbus Blue Jackets prospect Kole Sherwood (4, 5, 6) was the triggerman, teaming up with Florida Panthers draftee Adam Mascherin in a 4-2 win over the visiting London Knights. Mascherin had assists on all three of Sherwood’s goals as the Rangers snapped a 14-game slide against the Knights before 6,507 at The Aud. Slovakian forward Adam Liska (3) also scored for Kitchener while goaltender Luke Richardson made 31 saves including a penalty shot denial of Alex Formenton to record his fifth straight win. Formenton (3, 4) provided both London goals while Cliff Pu recorded a pair of assists and Joseph Raaymakers made 28 saves. The Rangers improve on their lead in the Midwest with a 12-6-2-0 record and victories in five of their last six. London falls to 7-10-2-0.
