Frontenacs announce player signings
The Kingston Frontenacs are pleased to announce that they have come to terms with Erik Gudbranson, the Club's first round pick in 2008 OHL Priority Selection.
They also announced that Ty Mort and Charles Sarault, the Club's two second round picks in 2008 OHL Priority Selection, have also signed education contracts.
Gudbranson (pictured), rated as the number one defenceman by OHL's Central Scouting, will join the team for Training Camp on Monday, August 25th for medicals and physicals.
"Erik is a very talented and skilled young hockey player, who the fans will enjoy watching develop," said Larry Mavety, Director of Hockey Operations. "He is a big kid with great tools and skates very well.
"Ty is a solid prototypical defenceman, who has an edge to his game. Sarault is a smooth skating kid who can play all three forward positions and is a great two-way player," Mavety added.
"These two signing along with Gudbranson, are solid additions to our Club."
Returning Frontenacs players will report to Training Camp on Sunday for medicals and physicals, with all others reporting Monday. On-ice will begin Tuesday at 9:30, which is open to the general public.
