The Ontario Hockey League invites applications for the position of – OHL ENFORCEMENT OFFICER / DIRECTOR OF SECURITY. The OHL is seeking a strong individual, ideally with a law enforcement background. Such individual would ideally have the ability to work out of their home office and possess good computer skills.
The OHL Enforcement Officer / Director of Security would be a part-time contracted position and such individual would report to the League Commissioner.
The OHL Enforcement Officer / Director of Security would…
· Ensure that all OHL Member Teams comply with the policies developed by the League in the area of player recruitment and that Member Teams comply with the League rules / policies that have been established in the area of those benefits that a team may in fact provide to a player.
· Serve as a contact for players / teams in the area of the CHL / OHL Drug Education and Anti-Doping Program.
· Serve as a contact and assist in the enforcement of the League’s Harassment and Abuse Policy.
· As OHL Security Officer – assist in the coordination and support for security / police services for all OHL special events, ie., League All-Star Game, International events, Memorial Cup, OHL Cup, Under-16 Programs, etc.
· Assist in the enforcement of the League’s TECHNOLOGY POLICIES.
