This week on OHL News - Radio Edition, Game Three of the 2009 Subway Super Series is in the books and Team OHL emerged with a 5-2 win over Team Russia Thursday night November 19 in Barrie, ON. Jeff Skinner of the Kitchener Rangers comments on his Player of the Game performance scoring two goals in the win. Matt Hackett of the Plymouth Whalers also talks about the Subway Super Series looking ahead to Game Four Monday night November 23 in Windsor where he will play between the pipes.
We also hear from play-by-play man Mike Farwell of Rogers TV in Kitchener as he discusses the Rangers play so far in the 2009-10 season.
Skinner, a 17-year-old from Markham, ON, is playing in his second season with the Rangers and has 16 goals and 14 assists for 30 points through 22 games. He is eligible for the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
Hackett, a 19-year-old from London, ON, is a prospect of the Minnesota Wild following a third round selection in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. He has the league's best goals-against-average with a mark of .928 through 19 games this season.
