OHL News - Radio Edition this week wraps up the OHL leg of the 2009 SUBWAY Super Series as we hear post-game comments from Tyler Toffoli of the Ottawa 67's and Taylor Hall of the Windsor Spitfires as they emerged victorious over Team Russia 5-2 in Windsor on Monday night.
Toffoli, a 17-year-old from Scarborough, ON, scored two goals in the series and was also the Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week. Hall, an 18-year-old from Kingston, ON, was named Player of the Game for Team OHL in front of the hometown Spitfires crowd.
The segment also includes a one-on-one with host Terry Doyle and Cameron Gaunce, captain of the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors who also competed for Team OHL as an assistant captain for the SUBWAY Super Series game in Windsor. Gaunce, a 19-year-old from Markham, ON, was selected in the second round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Avalanche and discusses his future with the team and his hope to play for Canada at the 2010 World Junior Hockey Championships.
