OHL News - Radio Edition this week features a preview of Canada's National Junior Team Selection Camp that opens Saturday December 12th in Regina, SK in preparation for the 2010 World Junior Hockey Championships in Saskatoon and Regina.
In this edition we hear from Hockey Canada's Head Scout Al Murray who talks about some of the 17-year-old OHL players that will compete for a spot on Team Canada including Tyler Seguin of the Plymouth Whalers. Seguin, along with Taylor Hall of the Windsor Spitfires and John McFarland of the Sudbury Wolves are each eligible for the 2010 NHL Entry Draft and are among the 11 OHL players looking to crack the Team Canada lineup.
We also hear from Hockey Canada Senior Director of Men's National Teams Brad Pascall as he discusses the importance of the partnership between Hockey Canada and the Canadian Hockey League towards Canada's success in International competition.
