In Erie, Jaroslav Janus had a 29-save shutout to backstop the Otters to a 4-0 win over the London Knights in one of three games in the OHL playoffs on Wednesday.
Zack Torquato opened the scoring on a powerplay early in the first period before Brandon Biggers and Shawn Szydlowski each scored short-handed goals. Torquato rounded out the scoring with a short-handed marker into an empty net. Ryan O'Reilly chipped in with two assists in the win.
Trevor Cann stopped 26 shots for the Knights, who lead the series 2-1.
Sudbury Wolves 6, Belleville Bulls 2
In Sudbury, Matt Dias scored four goals to pace the Wolves to a 6-2 win over the Belleville Bulls that extended their opening round playoff series.
Dias opened the scoring 59 seconds into the game and scored the first four goals in the contest. Marcus Foligno and Gerome Guidice also scored for the Wolves, who trail the series 3-2. John McFarland, Peter Hermenegildo, Chris VanLaren and Eric O'Dell all had two assists and Andrew Loverock made 43 saves for the win.
Brandon Mashinter and Nick Pageau replied for Belleville while Mike Murphy made 21 saves.
Windsor Spitfires 6, Owen Sound Attack 3
In Owen Sound, Taylor Hall and Dale Mitchell each scored two goals to help the Windsor Spitfires double the Attack 6-3 and complete the four game seep of their opening round series.
Greg Nemisz and Eric Wellwood also scored and Andrei Loktionov had three helpers in the win. Andrew Engelage gave up three goals on the first 16 shots he faced before giving way to Josh Unice, who made 12 saves to finish the game.
David Kolomatis and Joey Hishon scored powerplay goals in the first period to give the Attack an early advantage. Grant McGee also scored and Scott Stajcer made 51 saves in the Attack net.
