OHL Playoff Update: Tuesday

In Ottawa, Andrew Agozzino scored 13 seconds into overtime to lift the Niagara IceDogs to a 4-3 come-from-behind win over the Ottawa 67's in Game 7 of their opening round Eastern Conference playoff series on Tuesday.

The IceDogs will face the Belleville Bulls in the second round of the playoffs starting on Thursday in Belleville while the Brampton Battalion and Mississauga St. Michael's Majors will meet in the other Eastern Conference quarter final series.

Jon Carnevale opened the scoring in the first period for the 67's before Reggie Traccitto tied the game on a powerplay in the final minute of the opening frame. Corey Cowick scored a pair of powerplay goals to stake the home team to a two-goal lead heading into the third period but Dylan MacEachern scored early in the third period and then Traccitto tied the game with 7:43 left in regulation.

Alex Freisen picked up two assists in the win and Jeremy Smith made 32 saves for the IceDogs.Adam Courchaine stopped 41 shots for the 67's, who forced the deciding game with a home ice win on Monday.
