Week 12 of the Top Five Goals in the OHL for the week ending December 6, 2009, features Nazem Kadri of the London Knights.
Kadri's highlight reel goal was scored last Friday night as part of a three-point game as second star of an 8-1 win over the Guelph Storm. His goal was a shorthanded tally to break a 1-1 tie at 17:45 of the first period which proved to be the game-winner.
Kadri, a 19-year-old from London, ON, has 20 goals and 18 assists for 38 points in 28 games this season which has him currently ranked 15th in league scoring. Kadri will now compete for a spot on Team Canada at the Men's National Junior Team Selection Camp that begins December 12th.
Nathan Moon of the Kingston Frontenacs also appears on the highlights this week along with Chris MacKinnon of the Kitchener Rangers, World Junior hopeful John McFarland of the Sudbury Wolves, and the Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week Alex Hutchings of the Barrie Colts.
