First round foes from the 2017 OHL Playoffs, the Hamilton Bulldogs and Kingston Frontenacs had another spirited bout on Sunday afternoon. Dallas Stars prospect Jason Robertson (4) tied the score at three with 4:21 remaining in the third period, forcing an eventual shootout that saw him score the game winner in a 4-3 road victory. Frontenacs goaltender Jeremy Helvig made 28 saves before turning away all three shootout opponents he faced. Veteran winger Ryan Cranford (1, 2) scored twice while defenceman Eemeli Rasanen picked up a pair of assists as the Fronts came back from down a goal three different times. The Bulldogs featured goals from Will Bitten (1), Arthur Kaliyev (1) and Owen Burnell (1). Goals by Kaliyev and Burnell were the first of their OHL careers. The Frontenacs improve to 4-1-0-0 with the victory while Hamilton drops to 2-1-0-1.
