The Flint Firebirds climbed out to a 2-0 lead but the Kitchener Rangers stormed back to score six out of the next seven in a 6-3 road win. Dallas Stars prospect Riley Damiani (4, 5) led the way with two goals and an assist, scoring the game winner with 7:42 left in the third period. Jonathan Yantsis (5, 6) also scored twice while Rickard Hugg picked up three assists. Greg Meireles (4) and Nick McHugh (2) added singles for Kitchener as the Rangers outshot Flint 47-31, racking up 24 shots in the second period alone. Kitchener went 3-for-8 on the power play while goaltender Lucas Pfeil made 28 saves for his first OHL win. C.J. Clarke (1) and Connor Roberts (1) each scored their first of the season for Flint while Eric Uba (3) also found the back of the net. The Rangers reverse consecutive losses and climb to 5-1-2-0 while Flint falls to 0-9.
