San Jose Sharks prospect Sasha Chmelevski (4) struck with 4:39 remaining to give the Ottawa 67’s a 3-2 win in Niagara. Ottawa’s sixth straight win ties last season’s high as Tye Felhaber (12) and Graeme Clarke (5) also lit the lamp while Jack Quinn and Mitchell Hoelscher drew assists on Chmelevski’s game winner. Ottawa outshot Niagara 44-32 as goaltender Cedrick Andree made 30 saves. Kirill Maksimov (11) and Kyen Sopa (6) were Niagara scorers as Sopa finished the night with a goal and an assist. Stephen Dhillon made 41 saves in the loss as the Dogs fell to 5-4-2-0. Ottawa leads the East Division with a 9-3-0-0 record.
