The Owen Sound Attack sent 50 shots on the Sarnia Sting goal, scoring five times as the reunited duo of Kevin Hancock (2, 3) and Nick Suzuki conntected twice. The Bears took a 5-2 win over the visiting Sting as sophomore forward Mitchell Russell (2, 3) joined Hancock with two goals while Alan Lyszczarczyk (3) tacked on insurance in the final minute of the second period. Mack Guzda got the win in goal with a 30-save effort while Suzuki finished the night with three assists. Sean Durzi collected two assists in his season debut after returning from the Toronto Maple Leafs. Sean Josling (1) and Theo Hill (1) scored for Sarnia while Aidan Hughes made 35 saves through 40 minutes before being relieved by Ethan Langevin. The loss is Sarnia’s first of the season as they drop to 3-1-0-0 while Owen Sound improves to 2-3-0-0.
