Peter Stratis (1) blasted home a point shot for the game winner with 4:33 left in the third period as the Sudbury Wolves took a 3-2 road win in Niagara. Buffalo Sabres prospect Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen was the difference, stopping 46 of the 48 shots that came his way to earn first star honours. Darian Pilon (2) and Blake Murray (1) also scored for Sudbury as the Wolves were victorious despite being outshot 48-21. Kyen Sopa (2) and Kirill Maksimov (4) provided Niagara goals as the Dogs fell to 3-2. Sudbury is off to a 4-2 start and currently leads the Central Division.
