Rickard Hugg’s (3, 4, 5) first career hat-trick headlined a 4-3 Kitchener Rangers road win over Sarnia. Joseph Garreffa (4) scored the power play game winner 6:31 into the third period to break up a 3-3 tie as the Rangers improved to 4-0-1-0. Rookie blueliner Arber Xhekaj picked up his first OHL point with an assist while goaltender Luke Richardson made 23 saves. After starting the season 3-0, the Sting drop their third straight decision, getting goals from Hugo Leufvenius (1), Jacob Perreault (4) and Ryan McGregor (3) in the process.
