2019 NHL Draft prospect Blake Murray (2) scored on a feed from Kirill Nizhnikov 49 seconds into overtime as the Sudbury Wolves won their fifth straight contest, wrapping up a perfect 3-0 weekend on the road. Sudbury edged the Kitchener Rangers 3-2, overcoming a 2-0 deficit as Darian Pilon (3) and Nizhnikov (2) also had goals. Sudbury outshot Kitchener 37-32 as goaltender Ukka-Pekka Luukkonen made 30 saves to improve to 5-0 on the season. Jack York (1) and Riley Damiani (3) had goals for the Rangers as they fell to 4-0-2-0. The Wolves climb to 6-2 atop the Central Division, capturing their first five-game winning streak since December 2013.
