Ivan Lodnia (1) and Alex Gritz (1) also found the back of the net while Taylor Raddysh (1) potted a shorthanded breakaway in his return from Tampa Bay Lightning training camp. Overage netminder Troy Timpano made 22 saves in the Erie win as new bench boss Chris Hartsburg won in his OHL head coaching debut. Zach Gallant and newly instated captain Logan DeNoble had goals for the defending East Division champion Petes in the loss.
