Outshot 23-15 through 40 minutes, the Barrie Colts charged out of the gate in the third period, putting up three goals while outshooting the Sudbury Wolves 19-3 in a 4-1 road win. Jason Willms (2, 3) scored third period markers less than five minutes apart before Kade Landry (2) hit the open net as the Colts climb to 3-1-0-0 on the campaign. Veteran forward Lucas Chiodo (3) also scored for Barrie as the Colts outshot the Wolves 34-26 and went 2-for-6 on the power play. Sudbury’s power play was held to 0-for-9 on the night as sophomore forward Owen Gilhula (1) provided the lone goal for the Wolves who are now 0-3-1-0.
