Dylan Wells held down the fort early with 20 first period saves before the Peterborough Petes charged past the East Division rival Oshawa Generals 5-2 on home ice. Florida Panthers prospect Jonathan Ang (1) led the way with a goal and two assists while overage winger Tyler Rollo (1) had a goal and a helper. Up 3-2 entering the third period, the Petes pull away from the Generals as goals from Logan DeNoble (2) and Ang solidified the club’s first win of the season. Declan Chisholm (1) and Chris Paquette (1) also found the back of the net for Peterborough while Wells made 33 saves on the night. Danil Antropov (1) and Domenico Commisso (1) replied for the Generals as they suffered their first loss.
