Veteran forwards Lucas Chiodo (2) and Zach Magwood (2) helped the Barrie Colts rally late to come back and defeat the visiting Soo Greyhounds 4-3 in overtime. Down 3-2 inside the final two minutes of regulation, Chiodo buried a loose puck in the slot with 1:07 remaining to send the game into overtime. Magwood redirected a Joey Keane power play point shot past Matthew Villalta 1:07 into the extra frame to help the Colts improve to 2-1-0-0 on the young season. Recently signed Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Alexey Lipanov (1) netted his first OHL goal and added two assists while newly named captain Justin Murray and rookie sensation Ryan Suzuki both had a pair of helpers. Keane (1) also scored for the Colts before setting up the winning goal as Barrie wound up 3-for-6 on the man advantage.
