The Kitchener Rangers remembered long-time play-by-play voice Don Cameron pre-game, and the Blueshirts went out and got the win behind a 31-save performance from first star Luke Richardson. The Rangers spread the scoring around as Jonathan Yantsis (3), Nick McHugh (1), Greg Meireles (2), Michael Vukojevic (1) and newcomer Chase Campbell (1) all found the scoresheet. Rookie blueliner Donovan Sebrango picked up his first OHL point with an assist. Kevin Bahl (1) provided the lone goal for the 67’s as they outshot Kitchener 32-26. Sasha Chmelevski was held off the scoresheet in his return from the San Jose Sharks. The Rangers improve to 2-0 out of the gate.
