A Central Division rivalry that dates back to the mid-90’s the intensity between the Sudbury Wolves and Barrie Colts is heating up again. After losing 10-3 to Barrie on Thursday, the Wolves responded with a 3-2 comeback overtime win capped off by a game winner from Quinton Byfield (3). Down 2-0, Darian Pilon (1) and Emmett Serensits (1) scored at 10:57 and 13:01 to knot things at two before Byfield’s winner came on a shot inside the far post from down the left wing. Buffalo Sabres prospect Ukka-Pekka Luukkonen earned his first OHL win with a 29-save showing to be named first star of the game. Sophomore sensation Ryan Suzuki (3, 4) scored both Barrie goals while Lucas Chiodo chipped in with a pair of assists. Sudbury improves to 3-2 while the Colts are 2-1-1-0.
