Top 2019 NHL Draft prospect Vladislav Kolyachonok scored his first OHL goal as part of a four-point effort as the Flint Firebirds defeated visiting Sault Ste. Marie 6-4. The 17-year-old from Minsk, Belarus scored the game winning goal, putting the Firebirds ahead 5-2 with a shot over the shoulder of Matthew Villalta off an offensive zone faceoff win. London’s second round pick in the 2018 CHL Import Draft, Kolyachonok is currently an ‘A’ rated prospect for the 2018 NHL Draft as assigned by NHL Central Scouting. He has 20 points (1-19–20) over 29 games this season.
