Sudbury, Ont. – The Sudbury Wolves Hockey Club is pleased to announce that Anthony Tabak, the Wolves’ 2nd selection in the 2017 OHL Priority Draft, has committed to the organization over the weekend.  Tabak was selected 53rd overall, hails from Oakville, Ontario and played last season for the Mississauga Senators Minor Midgets in the GTHL.

“Anthony is a player that we feel has a very bright future in Sudbury. He is a big skilled player and is an outstanding young man.  Anthony is a great addition to our hockey club,” said Wolves VP Hockey Operations and General Manager Rob Papineau.

“I have been working hard for this goal for such a long time. I’am extremely happy to be part of this great organization and I’m very grateful to everyone who helped me along the way.  I look forward to meeting the Sudbury community and contributing to the success of the hockey team in the future,” said Anthony Tabak.

This is the second commitment made by players selected in the 2017 Priority Selection for the Wolves this past spring.  Last month, the Wolves’ first round selection, Blake Murray, committed to the team following the team’s spring orientation camp.
