Joshua Avery commits to Bulldogs

BRANTFORD, ONTARIO. Brantford Bulldogs Interim General Manager Matt Turek today announced the signing of 2023 3rd Round, 54th overall selection, forward Joshua Avery to a Standard Players Agreement.

Avery, hailing from Cavan, Ontario, arrives with the Bulldogs as one of the most exciting offensive talents from the 2023 OHL Priority Selection Draft. The left-shooting centerman posted a brilliant 31 goals & 32 assists for 63 points in 35 regular season games with the Peterborough Petes U16 AAA program. Avery continued on his torrid pace as games got bigger, posting 4 goals & 11 assists for 15 points through 8 playoff games and another 4 goals & 2 assists for 6 points in 6 games at the OHL Cup.
