Sudbury Wolves

(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves are pleased to announce that first round selection Landon McCallum has made a commitment to the Sudbury Wolves Organization. The 5-foot-10, 154lb centre was selected by the Wolves 15th overall in the 2019 OHL Priority Selection. The Simcoe, Ont. native played last season for the Brantford 99ers where he had 17 goals and 32 assists in 31 games.

“I am very excited to commit to the club today,” said McCallum. “The Wolves are a world class organization and have had so many great players come through the organization.  Getting the chance to put on the Wolves jersey is the chance of a lifetime for me and I can’t wait to get started with the team in May.”

“We are thrilled that Landon has committed to the Sudbury Wolves,” said Rob Papineau, VP Hockey Operations and General Manager. “The fans in Sudbury will love his skill, tenacity and compete. We are looking forward to seeing him on the ice in May at our Orientation camp.”

Landon’s style of play can be described as a highly skilled forward with excellent vision. He makes all the players around him better as he is a tremendous playmaker and has a high compete level.

Fans will have their first chance to see Landon in action on May 11th and 12th when the Wolves host their orientation camp at Countryside Arena.
