Marcus Vandenberg commits to Rangers

Kitchener, Ont – The Kitchener Rangers have announced that goaltender Marcus Vandenberg has signed an Ontario Hockey League standard player agreement.

A 17-year-old native of Dorchester, Ont., Vandenberg was Kitchener’s ninth round (177th overall) pick in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection from the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs U16 program.

In 12 games with the Stratford Warriors of the GOJHL this season, Vandenberg has gone 10-1-0 with a 1.79 goals-against average, .935 save percentage and one shutout.
